Each year, the International Wood Culture Society hosts World Wood Day, an event that celebrates wood as a renewable biomaterial and cultural resource.
Our subject constructed a fully-functional Osage orange shortbow for this project. His battle scars include 2 cuts (to the same thumb) and a 5-inch bicep bruise that resulted from the bow's accidental 80-lb draw. We appreciate his sacrifices.
Fun fact: Osage orange is also known as "Horse apple". But that doesn't sound nearly as elegant, does it?

The Sam Adams pint glass was part of our personal collection and was not provided by the brand. We were clearly the right people for the job.

When RED Digital Cinema heard this production was being shot on one of their very first 8K Helium cameras, they generously offered to hand us a Raven and a Weapon to document life on the set. We couldn't refuse!
Fun fact: this BTS video is technically a mix of Helium, Weapon, Raven, and RED One MX footage – quite the collection!

Why is stop-motion animation so much fun? We've been doing it since our childhood days of play dates and Hi8 camcorders, and we're not bored of it yet.

Stop-motion animation is always fun, and often unpredictable. In this case, the dust bunnies ended up being oddly… cute? We’re hoping their grotesque voices offset that.

This video was produced as part of an advertising campaign for Pabst Blue Ribbon's limited edition American Traditions Collection. Available during the 2015/2016 holiday season, these aesthetically vintage labels pay homage to the beer's heritage and longtime association with American culture.
The crew may or may not have drunk the "props" after the shoot was wrapped. They really were better in the mountains.

Who doesn't have 60 seconds to fix their inanimate travel companion?
Loctite's Universal Glue comes to the rescue in a web series told from the perspective of broken objects. Our story of a broken backpack was produced for a global audience, with a wide demographic in mind, and uses an animation style fitting to the brand.
The hit jingle you hear was provided by Loctite. "Sixty seconds. Fix. Fix."

How do you drive home the fact that your eyes really do matter? Through fear mongering, of course!
LensCrafters wanted a humorous concept that showcases the importance of your vision, and one which could be executed in 15 seconds. Our protagonist will definitely schedule his eye exam, if he isn't condemned first.
Our production designer, who holds a master's degree in psychology, felt it was unethical to use real Rorschach cards (subjects should be perceiving the inkblots for the first time when taking the test). All cards seen in this commercial are fake.

Who hasn't experienced some sort of frustration when it comes to breaking pasta? Pot-Sized Pasta saves us that extra, messy step by fitting straight into the pot from the box. No need to go full 80's karate montage to get the job done.
Our actors had way too much fun with this one. The cleanup was not as exciting.
We felt the spaghetti dolls needed to showcase the mother's madness, while still retaining some charm. Mr. Macaroni has a very Seth Brundle vibe.
